Timeline Highlights:
1990: Unity of the Valley Church was established by Audrey Peterson and Janet Benson, sponsored by Unity South.
2013: Rev. Audrey Peterson retired after 23 years of service at Unity of the Valley.
2023: Unity of the Valley sold its building and moved to a new location at Presbyterian Church of the Apostles.

Our Staff
Lauren is a Minnesota native who grew up in Burnsville and has always been drawn to both creativity and structure. She has been an entrepreneur for eight years, including creating Hello Soul, a business centered around positive affirmations through bracelets and tie-dye t-shirts. She previously owned and operated a cookie business in Tennessee for several years and continues to bake muffins from home. Her background in office administration and business has shaped a practical, grounded approach to her work and daily life. She has a deep interest in studying consciousness, emotional processing, and effective communication as a path back to the true self.

Rev. Diane brings nearly two decades of ministry experience, along with a grounded, thoughtful presence and a gift for asking the kinds of questions that help us grow. Her wisdom, compassion, and empowering leadership will be a meaningful support to our community, and we look forward to all that will unfold in this next chapter together.
